One year ago, Chip Go and Pia Galvez exchanged their "I do's" in an intimate and lovely wedding ceremony. Along with their wedding vows, the couple made another promise: that one year after, they would celebrate their marriage with family and friends in a bigger and more festive renewal of vows. This December, the Filipino couple who have been based in Singapore since their wedding, came back to the Philippines to fulfill this promise.
Location: Edsa Shangri-La Plaza Hotel and "The Mango Farm", Antipolo
The day began at Edsa Shangri-La Hotel. Since the couple was already married, the atmosphere of the wedding preparations was fun and easygoing, no trace of the usual last minute jitters, and definitely--no cold feet!
The bride's gown was created by her best friend, designer Choc Religioso.
Pia looked absolutely radiant.
The bride had beautiful and unique shoes!
At the heart of the quiet village of Kingsville Court in Antipolo City is a 2.5 hectare farm sanctuary of over 200 trees - most of which are Mango trees. Thus the name "The Mango Farm". This was the setting of Chip and Pia's renewal of vows. With the altar and chairs set among the gardens and the sunset streaming through the thick branches of Mango trees, the setting provided magic and romance.
The couple exchanged personal and very moving vows. Everyone couldn't help but be teary-eyed from the couple's touching words filled with love, loyalty and devotion.
The mango trees became wonderful backdrops for Chip and Pia's photographs.
Since the couple met through common friends, they also took time out to each have their photographs taken with their respective `barkada'.
The wedding reception venue was located just beside the gardens. It easily fitted the 150 guests that the couple had that evening. Everyone was in the mood to celebrate!
Chip and Pia's happiness was infectious!
Congratulations Chip and Pia on your renewal of vows! Best wishes to such a lovely couple! May your years with each other get better and better and may fun and romance always be part of your lives.
