July 12, 2009 - Hotel Sofitel: As soon as the cinematic concepts team arrived at the hotel room door, Emillie's family warmly greeted the team. The bride was still under the hands of the make up artist as each family member waited patiently for their turn. The team had a special cinematic wedding video treatment already in mind as a surprise for the couple!
The groom - Hunt, on another floor of the hotel was also busy preparing for his big day.
Hunt arrived in the church, greeted everyone and kept looking at the gleaming white bridal car parked in front of the church.
The wedding ceremony was celebrated at the United Methodist Church, located at Kalaw St. Manila. Emilie looking so Radiant, appearing calm and relaxed about the event that is about to take place.
The priest was passionate about the wedding sermon. The team were able to shoot in all angles while the wedding traditions were carried out by the priest. There was a long gap between the church ceremony and the dinner-reception. The team took advantage of this time to take more shots despite of the drizzling weather. A rain cloud from the distance provided the drama for the shots.
The couple just waited in the car as more guests arrived. The Gloria Maris in Roxas Boulevard provided a good venue for a crowd of 600. The guests heard the beautiful voices of Emillie's relatives specially her 7-year old neice who sang "love story." Other family members took turns on the mic. Interestingly, a chinese song was sung by one of Emillie's uncles.
Gloria Maris will always be a perfect venue for wedding receptions. Great food. Good Service. The one in roxas blvd even provides a beautiful view of manila bay's famous sunset.
