May 10, 2009 - They love each other, they love photography, they love good food and good wine. So when photographers Iggy Bilbao and Cris Sevilla had their civil wedding ceremony, their first and only choice for the location in which to exchange their vows was the exclusive and secluded Lemuria at The Winery. Located in Horseshoe Village, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, the gourmet fine dining restaurant fulfilled the couple's wish list. First, it was an intimate, lovely and definitely camera-worthy venue. Second, Lemuria's Chefs Rudolf and Golda May Ranada created original, intriguing and scrumptious French Mediterranean cuisine. And lastly, to top it all off, Lemuria not only had an extensive wine list, it also had its own wine cellar.
The groom's day began with preparations at his brother's condominium at Salcedo Village, Makati.
And just on the other side of Makati, the bride prepared in her parents' condominium in Legaspi Village. Makeup and hair was done by makeup artist Engie Mulingbayan, a friend of the couple.
By sunset, the ceremony was ready to start. The groom anxiously awaited...
A very simple yet elegent setup was arranged for the civil wedding rites at the winery's open garden. The couple chose silver and white as their color theme. And lots and lots of white cascading orchids!
And finally the bride came. The civil ceremony was short but sweet. The vows, written by the couple themselves, was heartfelt, romantic, and left the close circle of family and friends teary-eyed.
It was truly a day to celebrate!
Lemuria charms with its intimate, warm and rustic ambience. It was not difficult for the Cinematic Concepts Team to find quiet little nooks in which to shoot the couple.
The cellar at The Winery with a holding capacity of more than 27,000 wines. Currently it houses mostly German, European and South American fine wines. Iggy and Cris had a wonderful time with Lemuria's gracious proprietress Kitt Shroeder weeks before, as they chose which wines to serve on their wedding day.
The Lavender Room of Lemuria. Both the main dining room and the Lavender Room of Lemuria can normally can seat around 20-30 people. But it was the couple's special request to arrange for a formal sit-down dinner for 40 people. The Lemuria staff most willingly obliged.
Complimenting the gracious setting was an elegant menu from Chef Rudolf and Golda May Ranada of Lemuria. The dinner started with Baguette, Walnut, and Sun dried Tomato Bread, an appetizer of La Tomate et Citron (Cherry tomatoes, lemon confit and mozzarella salad) and Vicchyssoise soup (Cream of leek and potato with lumpfish caviar and creme fraiche). After a strawberry, raspberry and blueberry popsicle intermezzo, the guests were served the entree. Each dish of each course was just wonderful!
Roast Beef, Garlic Potato Puree and Porcini Sauce
St. Pierre Tarragon Crusted Fillet with Grapefruit and Brown Butter Sauce
Dessert was the lovely Carabao’s Milk Panacotta with Minted Fruit Salsa
It was a cozy, fun-filled and romantic evening for the couple and their guests!
The couple was given matching watches by their friends.
The couples' choice for wines were Balbach, Syrah Bonarda and Cricova Muscat.

Very artistic shots... makes me wanna get married already! =)
I like the black and white shots!
