April 26, 2009 - This is the On-site wedding video that the Cinematic Concepts Team produced for Jaybee and Meloy's wedding day. This was presented as part of the main program during their reception, which was held at the famous Fernwood Gardens at Quezon City. The Davao-Manila based couple have a unique and interesting story about their relationship too and the Team was really glad to document their wedding celebration as destiny finally brought Jaybee and Meloy together forever.
Cinematic Concepts' goal has always been making our client's wedding day even more special by focusing on the events that inspire and touch the heart.
Meloy and Jaybee's wedding avp shoot took 3 days to execute. The Cinematic Concepts team flew to Davao months before the wedding. And together with Meloy and Jaybee, the team came up with an itinerary that included restaurants, dormitories, beach resorts, and tourist "pasaubong" centers. The Island Garden City of Samal provided a unique and private backdrop for our photo and video shoot. It was also a good time for the team to get to know the couple more.
It took almost ten years and Davao City's unique destination spots to get this couple "back-on-track" towards tying the knot on April 26, 2009. Jaybee and Meloy's prenup photo and video shoot were done in places the couple considered as "turning" points in their epic courtship. Since meeting at the Ateneo de Davao University back in 1998, the couple has managed to maintain their love for one another inspite of the long distance between them-- Meloy being a resident of Davao City, and Jaybee a Manilena.
Our last location for the day was at the cliffs overlooking Davao International Airport. In spite of the tight schedule and bad weather, we still tried to wait for any airline jet to pass overhead so we could have included it in this shot... but then after a while we all got hungry! Haha. With no airplanes in sight and with the grumbling in our tummies, we decided to head back to the city for some creamy durian!

You guys are the best! Super professional and always thinking of what is best for the shoot but still so friendly. We're both super camera shy but surprisingly, we were so at ease around you. It was so fun getting to know you more on our three-day shoot in davao. Million thanks for being so patient with us. In fact, mas excited pa nga yata kayo, patiently waiting for the right time to shoot, the right lighting and all, and suggesting to come back to a location when you felt it would make the shoot better. Love you guys. Everyone loved our prenup avp, parang juday-ryan daw kami (haha). And of course the onsite, so dramatic.*sigh* Ako, until now, inuulit ulit ko pa rin both vids, i've loaded it to my iphone and almost everyday, i watch it, and i always end up smiling and so happy. Thanks a lot cinematic team!
