December 29, 2008: Was the day Alex and Marge exchanged their vows at the Basilica of San Sebastian, Quiapo Manila. The church is known for its uncommon architectural features, one of which is that it is the only "all-steel" structure church or basilica in Asia.
In 2006, San Sebastian Church was included in the Tentative List for possible designation as a World Heritage Site. In addition, the church was listed among the 1998 World's Most Endangered Sites by the World Monuments Watch.
The Manila Orchidarium was the venue for the couple's wedding reception. It is located at the edge of Rizal Park between the National Museum and the Museum of the Filipino People. It is know to be home for local and common orchids, other exotic blooms, attractive ornamental plants and fishes in manmade ponds.
The main dining hall is aptly named Lush Life. It features two dining areas - indoor and outdoor where the wedding guests had a comfortable view of the couple and the participant of the wacky reception program!
